Annalisa’s aspirations of becoming a physiotherapist began at the early age of 13, when she was injured during a ballet class and found herself as a patient in a physiotherapy clinic. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science (Magna Cum Laude) as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, completing her studies in 2014. During her studies, Annalisa gained experience in a variety of settings, treating patients in both the outpatient and inpatient environments.
After graduating, Annalisa became a United States-licensed PT and stayed in Boston to gain some work experience, employed by the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network in a Skilled Nursing Facility, where she treated patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in the inpatient setting.
Annalisa has a special interest in treating patient with neurological conditions such as stroke and spinal cord injury, as well as patients with vestibular and balance deficits including vertigo.
When she is not in the clinic, Annalisa also provides home physiotherapy to patients who are unable to get to the clinic.
