Lorraine Hadeed-Richardson

Lorraine Hadeed is a highly experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologist with more than 20 years of expertise in cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation. She earned a Master of Education in Kinesiology, specializing in Clinical Exercise Physiology, from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Business, graduating with High Honours in 1998.

During her time in Texas, Lorraine worked in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at Austin Medical Center, where she gained valuable clinical experience in the management and recovery of patients with cardiovascular conditions.

In 2000, she returned to Trinidad and became the country's first Clinical Exercise Physiologist to establish a dedicated cardiac rehabilitation and medical fitness program for heart patients. Throughout her career, she has helped countless individuals improve their health, functional capacity, and quality of life through evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation programs.

In addition to her extensive work with cardiac patients, Lorraine is trained in the rehabilitation and management of individuals with respiratory conditions. She has also expanded her expertise as a Cancer Exercise Specialist, providing specialized exercise guidance and support for individuals undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment.
