Rachelle Burns

BSc., PES

With a love for sports and a desire to help the injured athlete, she pursued her studies in Sports Science and Graduated from The International School of Physical Education and Sports in Havana, Cuba in 2007 with her Bachelors degree.

While in Cuba she had the opportunity to gain experience in many different areas of sports and physical wellness. She worked with special needs patients, in diabetic centres, in schools and sports training centres for superior athletes, in homes for the elderly and in community rehabilitation centres. She brings that wealth of knowledge and experience to her patients in the wellness program at Total Rehab.

Rachelle has completed courses in therapeutic aquatic exercise from Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute, and runs our therapeutic aquatic exercise program at La Joya (click here to see more information on our aquatic programs), whilst working closely with the physiotherapists at Total Rehab.

She has also worked with a number of club teams as well as National teams in various disciplines such as football, hockey and rugby, accompanying them to

Pan Am games.

With a strong desire to see people achieve their fitness goals and help the injured athlete recover, she continues to follow her heart in the fields of personal and athletic training. Rachelle is bilingual and a great compliment to the diversity that is Total Rehab!
