What is Telehealth?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines Telehealth as healthcare services that use telecommunications and virtual technology to deliver healthcare outside of traditional health facilities. These technologies include the use of videoconferencing through the internet on a computer, smartphone or tablet to access therapeutic services in the comfort of your own home, or when you cannot receive care in person.
